Intelligent Fridges B.V. respects your privacy. Therefore, we only process personal data according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In this Privacy Notice, we will explain how we collect and use your personal data and how you can exercise your privacy rights. We recommend that you read this Privacy Notice carefully to ensure you are informed about the way we process your personal data.

What data do we collect?
We may collect the following personal data, depending on the purposes:
- Your name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Company name
- Company details, such as address, registration numbers, trade names etc.
- Financial information, such as payment details and tax information
- Profile pictures and account names on social media
- Other information you provide to us
Why do we collect personal data?
We may collect and process personal data for the following purposes:
- To get in touch if you contact us
If you contact us through the contact form on our website or by email, telephone, WhatsApp or other means of communication, we use your personal data to be able to get in touch with you. We store this information as long as we deem necessary for our (potential) business relationship.
- For the performance of a contract with you
For the performance of a contract with you, or in order to take steps prior to entering into a contract at your request, we may collect personal data, such as (company) name, email address, phone number, tax information, payment details and other relevant personal data you provide us. We store quotes, sales orders and invoices for at least 7 years, as we are required to do so by the Dutch Tax Authorities. We store other relevant documents and information that may contain personal data for as long as our customer/business relationship lasts.
- For job application procedures
If we have any open vacancies on our website and you decide to apply, we may ask you to provide us with personal data such as name, address, email address and telephone number, a curriculum vitae and motivational letter. We use this information during the application procedure. If we cannot offer you a job, we will remove your data after the application procedure. If we cannot offer you a job immediately, but want to store your data to be able to contact you in the near future about other jobs, we will only do so after we asked you for your consent. In such cases, we will not store your data longer than 1 year after the application procedure.
- To interact with you on our social media channels
If you post a message or reaction on one of our social media channels, we collect and process your name, profile picture and other information you provide to us. Your messages or reactions will be stored indefinitely, unless you remove them yourself or request us or the social media provider to remove them.
- Legal claims
If legal claims arise, we may process personal data to defence our rights. We have a legitimate interest to process personal data for this purpose. Of course, we hope this kind of situation does not occur.
Data processing by third parties
We make use of third parties to be able to run our business. At this moment, we make use of:
- Hosting provider to host our website
- Email provider to be able to send and receive emails
- Accountants to help us with our bookkeeping
These companies act as data processors for your personal data and only process your personal data on our behalf and for the purposes we have stated in this Privacy Notice.
Parties that transfer personal data outside the EEA have Standard Contractual Clauses in place to guarantee their compliance with the provisions of the GDPR.
We do not disclose your personal data to other third parties, unless this is necessary for the performance of the contract with you or for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject. If this occurs, we will always try to inform you about this.

To keep your personal data safe and secure, we have implemented security measures appropriate to the size and nature of our business. We keep our website, devices and operating systems up to date by installing the latest security updates.

You have the right to restrict our processing of your personal data when you contest the accuracy of the personal data, when the processing is unlawful, when we no longer need your personal data for the purposes of processing but you need those data for the defence of legal claims, or when you have objected to the data processing but it still needs to be verified whether your of our legitimate grounds prevail.

You have the right to receive the personal data you provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and you have the right to transmit those data to another controller. The right to data portability applies where the processing of your personal data is based on your consent or on a contract between us and if the processing is carried out by automated means.
- The right to object
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, including profiling, when we process your personal data based on our legitimate interests or for the performance of tasks carried out in the public interest.

If there is a dispute, we prefer to resolve it mutually. If we are unable to find a solution together, you always have the right to file a complaint with the competent data protection authority. This Privacy Notice does not apply to third party websites that are connected to our website through hyperlinks. We cannot guarantee you that those third party websites process your personal data in a safe or responsible way. The services we offer might change from time to time. Laws and regulations are subject to changes as well.
